ERP for ASTOR Schneidwerkzeuge GmbH
The new ERP had to be introduced without interrupting operations. We set up the system together with the vendor and built the required interfaces.
The crucial part: migrating the business data from the old to the new system within a single weekend.
By go-live, data migration was completed in under 30 hours: 1,000 raw materials, 5,000 articles, 8,000 companies and 20,000 addresses. The overall project stayed on schedule with zero production downtime.

Marketplace for an industry association in the beverage sector
During an acute raw-material supply crisis following the war in Ukraine, an entire industry needed a way to match supply and demand – fast. We built a lean marketplace: concept, implementation and go-live were our responsibility. Only two one-week sprints passed from first concept to launch. A working platform was ready exactly when it was needed – no luxury, but everything that matters.

AI consulting for a financial services provider
We advised a financial services provider on adopting AI, with a focus on risk assessment. Training sessions first built a realistic understanding of what artificial intelligence can and cannot do. In a use-case hackathon with the team we then evaluated concrete fields of application: risk scoring, fraud indicators and the automation of audit processes. Abstract interest in AI turned into a prioritized list of tangible, evaluated use cases.

Software development for DB Engineering & Consulting
For Deutsche Bahn we developed a browser-based tool for commissioning documentation. We analyzed the legacy database both functionally and technically and derived a requirements specification from the statutory regulations – plus the tender criteria and support throughout the tendering process. We led the implementation with an external development team as Scrum Product Owner, and since the pilot phase as Senior Product Owner for ongoing development. The project was covered in the trade journal Eisenbahningenieur.

Data protection for an international solar company
In a highly complex, decentralized IT landscape, working data protection is no longer a simple matter. We advise the group and help implement the data protection documentation hands-on, establish robust processes and prepare data protection impact assessments – including for AI applications. We also reorganized the handling of data subject requests. The goal is compliance that holds up in everyday operations – not just on paper.

IT professional since 1996
I am an independent IT project manager with a background in the social sciences and humanities. From classic software development to crisis project management, my projects have taught me one thing: what our time needs most is to bring the mechanics of projects back to their smallest unit – the human being.
Since 2015 I have also been working on AI-driven projects – not moonshots, but meaningful, tangible applications. My aim is to enable organizations to use AI where it truly makes a difference: by helping users understand its possibilities and limits, by training small, tailored models on local data, and by navigating the regulatory requirements safely.
I am a convinced advocate of agile project management – applied successfully in industries as diverse as manufacturing, transport infrastructure, event management and finance.
Together with my Scrum team, I solve problems by building software around your challenge – with or without AI – and putting it into operation right inside your organization.
